A game-changing network.
Once upon a time, there was a bloke in England who decided to start making podcasts from his home office.
Eventually, someone paid him to make podcasts for other people, which is nice. He continued to produce his own shows independently, but unlike most of what you read on LinkedIn, there was no fairytale ending.
You see, this bloke had a bit of a rollercoaster journey through the world of podcasting. Jobs disappeared as quickly as they came, and the only constant were his own projects. And these projects brought him more joy and personal growth than anything else he could work on.
There was just one problem…They didn’t make any money.
Like many other indie creators out there, he spent so much of his available time and energy making shows, that there was none left to think about promoting or selling them. Cue lightbulb moment. You see, this bloke was Mercury’s founder Liam Heffernan.
